India won the Final and fifth match of the five match 4-1by 34 runs. Even though Pollard

Hit a century (119) its of no use in achieving a victory for West Indies he was the last man out when Ajinkya Rahane took a smart catch off Suresh Raina’s bowling.Ravindra Jadeja was the pick of the Indian bowlers as he took the 3 wickets for 62.

India gave the target of 268 to visitors and it got off a worst start as Irfan Pathan and

Abhimayu Mithun blew away the top four for only 36 runs on the board.Denesh Ramdin

Was then removed by Jadeja at 78 for 5 only but Pollard and all rounder Andre Russell

Furious batting of 89 in 79 balls proved a good start until Russell was run out .

Darren Sammy was dismissed by Jadeja but Pollard kept the score card ticking with some good shots till he reached his century. He finally came down at the end of the Final match.

Manoj Tiwary's maiden ODI hundred saw India to a solid score of 267 for 6. On a slow track, West Indies let the game slip after a terrific start that saw Kemar Roach reduce India to 1 for 2, as Tiwary guided the hosts to a highly competitive total.

West Indies made the perfect start when Roach removed Rahane and Parthiv Patel for first-ball ducks in the first over of the match, but a 83-run partnership between Gautam Gambhir (31) and Tiwary put India back on track. Tiwary then set about taking the game away from the opposition as he ploughed through his second fifty in a 117-run partnership with Virat Kohli.

Although Tiwary was forced to shuffle one single later as he gave in to the cramps which had determined him in the final part of his innings, Kohli went to 80 from 85 balls before finally alternative out long-on. The final overs were not as beneficial as India would have liked - they scored just 53 runs in the last 10.

India's Intricated Win Over West Indies

India won the first ODI against West Indies by just one wicket, despite it was a nerve holding match for the new pace sensations Varun Aaron and Umesh Yadav.India had to chase 212 as it lost 5 wickets for only 59 had lost hopes of winning the match but Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja's
Partnership revived optimism for a win.India's top order failed to reach a moderate target by playing some rash shots .Kemar Roach stepped up for West Indies as he removed Parthiv , Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli cheaply.

Sehwag then tried to steady the ship but fell to Russell, who continued to brighten West Indies' chances after Roach's good work at the top.

Russell then made it 59 for 5 when he took care of Suresh Raina. The ball stopped on Raina, who checked his shot at the last moment only to spoon a catch to mid-off.

Sharma and Jadeja took stock and figured out that if they stayed on the wicket, runs would come. After getting their eyes in, the two started milking the bowlers with relative ease.

Just when it looked India were in a comfortable position, Kieron Pollard removed Jadeja, whose slash at a fullish delivery went straight to point.

R Ashwin was run out after Sharma failed to see him denying a suicidal second, bringing the game back in balance at 159 for 7. Thereafter, Sharma took charge and tried to hog more of the strike.

A 42-run partnership ensued between Sharma and R Vinay Kumar to firm India's hopes of an easy win. But with just 11 needed for a victory, a double strike by Anthony Martin and skipper Darren Sammy swung the pendulum once again.

Sharma missed the line of a Martin delivery to let the ball through to hit his stumps. In just the next over, the 47th, Vinay followed him back as he hit one straight to mid-off.

However, Aaron and Yadav then showed nerves of steel to take India home by one wicket, when Yadav shuffled across to hit an on-drive off Sammy for the winning boundary to give India a 1-0 lead in the five-match series.

Earlier in the day, Yadav and Aaron took two wickets each to restrict West Indies to 211 after Sehwag put the visitors in to bat. Darren Bravo was once again the chief contributor to his side's score with 60.

West Indies began on the wrong foot when the Indian new-ball bowlers reduced them to 52 for 3. While Adrian Barath was the first man to go by edging Vinay to Parthiv, Marlon Samuels (10) and Lendl Simmons were bowled by Aaron and Yadav respectively.

Bravo then combined with Danza Hyatt for a 75-run fourth-wicket partnership to raise hopes of a competitive total. But the run-out of Hyatt opened the floodgates for the visitors.

Bravo fell 27 runs later as West Indies lost half of their side at the score of 154 in the 35th over. He was bowled by part-timer Raina.

Pollard failed to live up to his big-hitting rapport and was dismissed by Ashwin for a laborious 13 off 33 balls.

Russell played a little cameo in the end, 22 off 23 balls, to take West Indies past the 200-run mark.

RCB Vs Redbacks

It was the most exciting match of Champions League twenty20 as Australians elected to bat and post the highest total in the tournament either a brilliant start or an even better second-wicket stand, all followed by a last-ball six whichever.

It all started with one of the most controlled centuries what we can see in a T20 game, Daniel Harris being the man to consider with. It almost ended with another of the Redbacks, Shaun Tait turning in a bowling performance which on any other night would have been a match-winning one.

Which was better, Harris' unbeaten 108 and his 114-run second wicket stand with an equally impressive Callum Ferguson that allowed the Redbacks amass 214 for two, or the RCB chase led by T Dilshan, Virat Kohli and to an extent Chris Gayle was the question.

Needed score at 10.75 an over from the start, not many would have given RCB a chance, not even the 20,000-odd fans who had gathered for the game. And with just 18 needed off the final two, the chase set up by Dilshan and Kohli , seemed done and dusted. Tait though had other ideas picking up three wickets, including that of Dilshan.

That left RCB 15 to get off the final over bowled by Daniel Christian which later boiled down to six from the last ball. That anything was possible on a night such as this was proved by Arun Karthik, who smashed the ball over midwicket for six and with it took his side home.

RCB’s dazzling win over Somerset

Royal Challengers Bangalore was in strong need to win the match against Somerset

To stay in contention for a semifinal place, overcoming the strong Chris Gayle’s power.

Rains being helpful for them hitting the ground in the afternoon RCB did first bat and

Set the score of 206/6.Poor Somerset, unable to reach the score though they dropped Gayle in the very second over.He simply played with the Somerset bowlers as he likes

Of Tillakaratne Dilshan,Virat Kohli,Saurabh Tiwary and Mayank Agarwal keeping up the aggression at their ends.Somerset Openers Peter Trego and Craig Kieswetter counl not make a fist having just been taken for 50 runs. Somerset manage nine runs from the final over of the innings but it's not enough to prevent Royal Challengers Bangalore winning, and winning handsomely. It's exactly what the doctor ordered for Daniel Vettori's side, as it will boost their NRR considerably.

Poor Catching and par below bowling of Somerset made the RCB’s win this match.

Trinidad & Tobago beat Chennai Super Kings

Trinidad & Tobago stunningly defeated CSK Sunil Narine's 10-wicket haul in an innings for Trinidad & Tobago had come in a trial game, but on Sunday the rookie off-spinner showed he was the real treaty. Narine was impossible to get away on a slow turner as MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings found themselves on the point of elimination from the Champions League after a 12-run loss.
If CSK win their last game against New South Wales, they will reach four points, but that may not be enough as two more teams (NSW and T&T) from the group can also finish on the same number of points.all five teams still have a chance to qualify going into the final day of the round matches here on Tuesday. However, if Cape Cobras beat T&T in the first game on Tuesday and reach five points, CSK will be eliminated.
Sunday, though, was all about Narine, who gave away only eight runs off his four overs and took the wickets of Vijay, Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni to leave the IPL champions in disarray. Dwayne Bravo tried his bit but that was not enough. Even though the pitch was getting difficult to bat, T&T showed they had the spirit to fight it out. After a decent start, they had a middle-order collapse. It seemed that CSK would be able to restrict the Caribbean champs to less than a 100, but there was a late charge by Kevon Cooper that helped them reach 123.

The openers started on a cautious note. Lendl Simmons and William Perkins tried to get a feel of the pitch before trying anything excessive.
