England Defeated Georgia and placed a complicated week behind them in Dunedin today to beat Georgia and go top of their pool on point difference.
Martin Johnson's team triumphed by six tries to one, with Shontayne Hape (2), Delon Armitage, Manu Tuilagi and Chris Ashton (2) scoring.

They will take the result after the controversy which has enveloped them in the past few days, but this was a scratchy, less than impressive effort.

Indeed, had Georgia possessed a goal kicker with the skill to match the courage of the team, the score line would have looked altogether different.

Predictably, after all the media analysis of recent days, England were fired up to make an immediate statement - and Hape duly obliged.
